Senior Consultant (Former Employee) says

"The best thing about BMC is that feeling that you're joining a family - everyone works really hard, but really well together."

Financial Analyst (Former Employee) says

"My excel skills improved dramatically, had a great mentor that taught me almost everything he experienced and knew. The job was fine but my team and the people around me made it enjoyable and that was what I looked forward to everyday.Great experience, fun people, and locationZero job security, high turnover rate, and no loyalty"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"Was told I’d definitely hear ‘feedback’ either way 2 days after an hour and a half long technical interview. Their idea of feedback was to not call, or even email. Nothing. That’s what my time was worth to this company, absolutely nothing. Not even a text to say ‘get lost’. Nothing. This kind of behavior might have been the norm 20-30 years ago, but, get real folks. It’s 2018, it’s time to stop pretending like candidates are worthless and can be treated as such. I should have seen the poor reviews here before applying & I’m sure 10 more fake reviews will pop up now about how ‘entrepenurial’ the company is to skew the average rating, but how many crappy reviews are you guys going to sustain before getting it together?"

"As stated in another reviewer's comment, there are so many inappropriate comments and way to many political games especially for a small company. It was a waste of a few months I can ever gain back!"

"Worked there for 5 years. Found upper management to be inappropriately sexist and misogynistic. Some rash, ill conceived decisions by the senior management have left the company weakened , trailing in its sector, and ill-equipped to recover."

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"Not a good fit for someone coming from a structured corporate environment. The atmosphere is an HR Manager's nightmare. Inappropriate jokes and comments. Atmosphere can be unbelievably inappropriate. You can kiss your weekends and dinner plans goodbye."

"It's not a 9-5 job by any means. Every employee was on call 24/7, even during vacations. The company beefed up upper management and laid off several employees due to salaries. The original owners have lost control of the company and is very doubtful it will recover from this. Lots of people have left from parent company and other companies purchased by BMC for these very reasons. It is possible that a bankruptcy company files bankruptcy!?!"

Former Employee - Developer says

"pay was above scale, lots of bad business decisions and politics caused downturn Management can't manage themselves, much less others. top level intense drama due to ego trips"

IT Software says

"Due to the politics and power struggles it's best to fly low and keep under the radar. Don't over or under perform, you can quickly find yourself in the middle of a bad situation. Technology in general seems to be considered a nuisance by many in upper management whose focus is on reducing cost via outsourcing without any consideration on quality, standards, process. This will likely cause much pain going forward. 401k provided, no match provided. No cost of living adjustments."

Regional Sales Manager says

"Management can be a bit disorganized"
